Aisha is proudly from Sierra Leone and moved to Sydney, Australia as a teenager. She has graduated from SAE with a BA in Film Production and from the Actors College of Theatre & Television. Since 2009 Aisha has earned her stripes on both sides of the camera in Sydney, the US, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. She has featured in the capacity of director, producer, writer and assistant editor in various mediums such as film, short film, documentaries, web series and corporate films. As co-producer and casting director on the critically acclaimed, ‘I Am Emanuel’, featured at Palm Springs International ShortFest in 2015, and received multiple, international awards and nominations including the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival. Aisha made her entrance into the branding world as founder and creative director of Canary Films producing short online videos for real estate, non-for profit organizations and the fashion industry. Her achievements have lead her to NYC to share her passion for storytelling and filmmaking to celebrate cultural diversity and creativity against the odds. Aisha partnered with Simon Olsen in life and career to bring a creative edge and well-rounded experience to any project she takes on.
Simon has worked in a variety of creative aspects of the music industry for over eighteen years and brings a strong force of experience and knowledge to direct the creative vision of every project he engages in. Born in Sydney, Australia he launched into the corporate side of the music industry in the role of video librarian at Sony Music Australia. Simon graduated from TAFE College, NSW after studying a Marketing Certificate and a Music Diploma. He also has certifications in Sound Designing, Mixing & Mastering and Ableton software. Since 2001 as a session musician, performer and co-producer he has worked with numerous Grammy Award winning artists and has toured over 16 countries and has a discography of over 20 releases. Simon moved to New York City in 2015 to expand on his skills and expertise within the industry. His passion for sharing knowledge and expertise has lead him to serve as a mentor to up and coming musicians and producers alike, both privately and at NYC’s music production school Dubspot as an instructor for music foundations and Ableton software. More recently his work has been in the area of composing and scoring for corporate videos and film. Now with his wife and partner Aisha Kamara he is growing their creative reach in the digital realm working with boutique brands in NYC delivering high quality content.
